When we designed Luma, we set out to honor the central tenets of Montessori education while also expanding them for today’s learners. Our enhanced learning labs are state-of-the art spaces inspired by Montessori philosophy and engineering to engage the mind and curiosity of your child as they navigate their ever-changing world.
Each space offers incredibly engaging lessons and immersive experiences designed to put your child at the center of their learning and inspire even more creativity and innovation.
ART LAB
Projects in the Art Lab develop your child’s creative thinking and problem solving and encourage them to think in unconventional ways to arrive at fresh solutions. Student’s will get the opportunity to not only use various media but also learn to appreciate artwork and the techniques behind them.
TeCHNOLOGY LAB
Students find an individualized approach to math concepts to phonics and even reading comprehension through online episodes and E-books that transform them from curious minds to successful students. Children’s use of technology is significant and when used appropriately, it can be a great tool for learning.
LEGO LAB
The kinetic connections of LEGOs teach your child everything from physics and spatial relationships to the principles of architecture, color theory, and industrial design. And you thought they were just for playing!
RIGAMAJIG LAB
In this STEM-based learning lab, students use a wide variety of simple machines to learn concepts of math, physics, and engineering while being deeply engaged in the art of making and experimentation.
SENSORY LAB
Your child’s learning starts with their senses, and they get a chance to engage them all in fun and surprising ways in our Sensory Lab.
PERFORMANCE STAGE
Our Performance Stage puts our students front and center to enact original plays and musicals, sing songs, and perform for real audiences. At Luma, stage fright becomes stage fun.
Montessori GYM
Montessori Gym constitutes a complete physical education solution, comprising both the materials and equipment to create a prepared gym environment, as well as the accompanying lessons and exercise programs.
